All pipes, fittings and spools can be lined prior to field installation at any of RSAL's strategically located plants – and/or, if required, at the client's own storage yard. (All equipment is compact and easily mobilized).

Assuming that the pipes are stacked in horizontal rows, the procedure couldn't be more simple. The lining machine rests on a ‘cross over' plate which is supported either by a rail or by a fork lift truck. The machine enters the pipe and travels to the far end. It then commences to apply a smooth lining throughout the pipe as it gradually reverses back out, until if finally reaches the ‘cross over' plate once more.

The pipe ends are sealed to retain moisture and minimize the movement of air (to ensure a good curing environment).

This fast and efficient process is then repeated for all the pipework which requires lining.

RSAL has cement mortar lined in excess of 5000 Kilometers of new steel pipework for Saudi ARAMCO, SWCC, and SABIC companies in Jubail and Yanbu.
