The GRP slip Lining system consists of one or more pieces or multisectional glass fiber reinforced plastic (GRP) panels manufactured from a selection of thermosetting resins and reinforced with glass fibre chopped strand mat. A glass surfacing tissue liner layer provides additional corrosion protection and abrasion resistance.

In procedures utilizing GRP liners, the annulus between the wall of the host pipe and the liners is filled with either a cementious grout or shotcrete. The high strength of the grout and the strength and durability of the GRP lining ensures a long life for composite units.
